Use the first fifteen minutes to lead better

Three questions that surface priorities, friction and people problems before the week gets expensive.

Leadership gets vague when every check-in becomes a status recital. Fifteen focused minutes can reveal what is moving, what is stuck and where your attention is actually useful.

Ask these three questions

  • What outcome matters most this week?
  • What is most likely to slow it down?
  • Where do you need a decision, air cover or help from me?

Do not solve everything in the room

Listen for the constraint before offering the answer. Sometimes the best leadership move is a decision. Sometimes it is removing a meeting, clarifying ownership or leaving a capable person alone.

End with one named next action and owner. Encouragement matters, but clarity is what lets people move.
