- Give each person one obvious place for dirty clothes.

- Assign the fold-and-put-away step, not just the wash.
Lower the standard where it does not matter
Not every item needs to be folded. Socks can share a drawer. Workout clothes can live in a bin. Save precision for the things that wrinkle or need care.
